Our Foundation
The TaraVati Ram Gopal Mehra Foundation was founded by late Ram Gopal Mehra with the active participation of his son, on the demise of his wife, late Tara Vati Mehra in 1968. The forming of the Foundation was the beginning of the fulfilment of a dream of a family, displaced from Pakistan during the days of the partition, to serve the community in which they lived, with the aim of bringing positive change in the lives of the underprivileged communities of the society. The dream continues to grow within the family ever since; as the efforts of Shri Ram Gopal Mehra were taken on by his son and daughter-in-law, Lalit Mehra & Renu Mehra. Today the next generation of the family continues to grow the vision of their grandfather of serving the needy with the inception of many new initiatives supporting this cause.
