The Mehra Chair Professor Annual Grant established at the IIT – Delhi in the year 2010
- The grant was first awarded to Prof. Sudipto Mukherjee – Mech. Engg. Deptt. (25.09.2010 – 25.09.2012) for Teaching & Research in the field of Design and Manufacturing Technologies. He was reappointed for another 3 year term and demitted the Chair on 26.9.2014.
- He did commendable work and had several achievements in the area of robotics and analysis of vehicular accident situations.
- Subsequently, The grant was awarded to Prof. P.V.Madhusudan Rao was appointed as the MEHRA CHAIR PROFESSOR in the area of Design & Manufacturing Technologies, Department. Of Mechanical Engineering, on 29.07.2016 for a 5 year tenure.
The Foundation recently funded the construction of a brand new Auditorium at the Aukland House School, Shimla. This furthers the foundation’s vision to enable holistic growth of school students from all strata of society and enable them to have a brighter future.
