Nirmal Primary School partnered with The Teach for India Foundation in 2021 to further our vision of providing holistic education to our Students and empowering them with a sound grasp of English as a language and a foundation of good soft skills. Under the Teach for India Fellowship programme,11 bright Young minds joined our teachers in July 2022, to work alongside them, and the joint efforts are bearing fruit.
The Teach For India Fellowship is an opportunity for India’s brightest and most promising youth, from the nation’s best universities and workplaces, to serve as full-time teachers to children from low-income communities in under-resourced schools. Through two years of teaching and working with key education stakeholders, the Fellows are exposed to the grassroots realities of India’s education system and cultivate the knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to work with the students to guide them towards a better life. At Nirmal Primary School, our HeadMistress and School Leader together reimagine education for all our children and strive to nurture curious, compassionate and conscious minds and set them on a lifelong journey in pursuit of truth and excellence.
We continue this collaboration through the year 2023-24, where Teach For India Fellows, Transformational Teaching Fellows and a School Leader join hands with our school’s own faculty to realise our dreams of excellent holistic education for our students.
